FAQ Antioxidant Cleansing Butter

· · · Comments

Apakah benar bisa dijadikan face mask?

Yes! Our cleansing butter is chock full of rich emollients that smoothes and softens the skin without clogging your pores. This formula contains hydrating ingredients such as sunflower oil to pull moisture into the skin, as well as emollients such as shea butter and petrolatum that help to maintain the skin’s natural moisture barrier.

Apakah aman untuk ibu hamil?

Yes, it is safe to use during pregnancy and breastfeeding.

Apakah dapat diaplikasikan untuk berbagai jenis kulit?

Yes, they are formulated to work with all skin types

How to use it?

Before you apply the balm, make sure your face is dry and not damp. Then, take an an almond-sized amount of balm from the container onto your fingertips. (Trust me – you don’t need more since a little goes a long way!)

Using circular motions, massage an almond size amount onto dry skin, applying gentle pressure to the cheeks, forehead, and eyebrows. This helps relax your facial muscles, promotes oxygen and blood flow in your skin and (perhaps most importantly) helps get the product into your skin and pores to really dissolve impurities and makeup.

Next, you splash water on your face – the dirty balm washes off cleanly thanks to the surfactant. Proceed with a gentle cleanser and your skincare routine.

Apakah perlu di double cleanse?

We recommend to use a foam cleanser afterwards after using a face balm so that your skincare can penetrate into your skin better, rather than sitting on an oily surface 🙂

Does it cause breakouts?

No it doesn’t! The emollients in our cleansing balm is non comedogenic, hence it does not clog your pores.

PEG is the same as Polyethylene?

Runa antioxidant cleansing butter does not contain polyethylene or any microbeads. PEG-20 glyceryl triisostearate and PEG-10 isostearate acts as surfactants – they’re non-ionic detergents, so they’re low-foaming but still wash off well.

Why not a natural surfactant?

The only properly natural surfactants we know are soap (which is harsh and high pH), and soap nuts and other natural saponins. Natural saponins are generally pretty weak at solubilising oils.
